Today I told Nina what I got her since she is getting her wisdom teeth out and shouldn't have to wait until after Christmas to find out. So I told her I was getting her the Franz Ferdinand cd, and she was like "really?!
i would've gotten it but that guy with the emo glasses..."

Haha that trip to the Commons was so funny!

got my dad cover for his iPod, yay I have something for him, but mommy still is a problem. Going shopping soon with her in Red Bank, getting people stuff, using my American Express Gift Cheque up. Got all my tips together, strange Ranney memories.

So weird.

So I gotta get Katie, Kero, Okita, Wuffles, Binky, and my secret Santa person something. Oh and Julia, prob. some other peeps I'm forgetting too.

Yesterday was cool too. I stayed after they told us we had to go to the Commons but we went to Satz instead. And then we hung out with Tara and Katie and stuff. We being me and Nina. Oh and I got to draw all over Mrs. Jacks' board. And Keith was a jerk when I was talking to my dad, but then again I was using his cell, soo...

It was fun :)

And today I read this note from Surina to Julia and it was so girly but that is Surina. She mentioned this party thing and said "maybe invite Diana". So I told her I read it and basically said she kinda had to invite me now :)

But I might go to the doctor! For me this is GOOD, since I never go to the doctor, and I'm having the same problems I had when I was absent with the asthma and messed up nose. And the doctor means my family might actually DO something about it.

My dad said I might even have pneumonia.

My reply : "Oh, joy."

But I feel pretty sucky, esp. when I go up and down the stairs.

But my dad being the nice guy he is is making me chili. He's too sweet. :)

So once my mom gets home from work, I get to have some nice warm chili, and that should help. Good thing too, because for some reason it tends to get worse later in the day (at least from my prev. experience).

And in the meantime, I'll just take Dimetapp and try to move as slowly and infreq. as possible.

This sucks.
Oh well.

I feel like I'm going to pass out, this is so messed up.

I had my yoga party on Friday, that was cool. Today was so messed up. It sucked and then was sorta okay, but I don't understand how cuz it was sucky. And then I was all happy and I had no idea why. So yeah that was today and the Simon test was evil. I added peach iced tea to my interests and Shelby has a lj now so I have reason to be happy now so yay!

I didn't do as well as I wanted on that Simon test but I realize I shouldn't be complaining since I should be ok with an 80. And this morning I seriously felt like I was going to pass out and just wanted a nap and Motzy was like torture except I dissed Tio and that was happiness. And lunch I felt messed up and lightheaded and still wanted a nap. But project adventure had some of that underlying drama with Kelly, and I think everyone besides Tara and me should just bitchslap each other and get it all out. I mean Amanda was just making it worse and Surina is just always like all must-confront-Kelly-and-complain-about-how-we-aren't-going-to-do-the-intermediate-wall. Wow those dashes are evil. And Kelly is just Kelly. So yeah, the tension is there even if it doesn't all come out and I just stand there like ummm.... yeah. And so does Tara, and it is just messed up.

Any why is everyone such hypocrits these days? Kelly got on my case saying I could've done the intermediate wall I just wasn't confident enuf and then today was like all "I can't do the prussics so we aren't doing them". I mean, wtf, doesn't that show some lack of confidence, the prussics are easy. And when we were all getting on her case about that shit she was making excuses and there was more drama but then I was still okay and wasn't feeling sucky or anything. Also I was telling Amanda about how I would feel like a hypocrit if I was in an anti-fur thing since I have suede stuff and she said no one else really cared and would do it even if they had suede. Maybe I just think this stuff through too much with all my messed up morals.

And Bio no one got an A on the test but Mr. Simon didn't care and I felt bad for Amanda cuz she did badly.

But I came home and was happy. For whatever messed up reason.

People are all coming home. Dad has been on a business trip and I'll see him on Friday and Lisa as already mentioned is coming back the 18th and Amanda is all like "Your sister sounds so cool I have to meet her" and it is just weird.

And I've got a little group of new yoga converts. Surina is almost definitely joining and Krutika is and Amanda might because I told her that all hippies do yoga and she looks up to hippies.

My life is kind of funny in a messed up and slightly pathetic way.
Or maybe I just think that....

I know, I'm a weirdo, but she's the kind of person that appreciates the kind of gifts that someone sees and it actually makes them think of you, and that is what it is. But that might just be because I'm always thinking of her....

LESS THAN 2 WEEKS I'LL SEE HER!

Of course, I have to spend all that time in Ohio with relatives that are all older than me or way younger. Most of them are married and/or out of college. I don't even have anything to talk about. Summer sucked (unless being depressed half the time and working till I get home past 5 isn't sucky), and school is plain old school. I really don't want to go to Ohio, and the only one in my family who wants to go is my mom, and she can get touchy on the subject, because they are her relatives (it is her sister's house [my aunt on her side]). I've been there so many times. And I'll probably have to visit my grandmother (my only still living grand parent) who has Alzheimer's to the point where it is depressing visiting her (she wouldn't even reckognize my mom as her daughter, doesn't know anyone's name, it is REALLY bad).

My mom was acting really messed up today like twice she got really pissed off at me for minor little things and was like screaming at me, and then she'd act like nothing happened. It really annoyed me. It was like if I didn't do a little thing she asked for me to do right away, all the sudden she was pissed off.

Wednesday was awesome :)

Took the 4:00 train to NYC. It was delayed, so we got there and got food by like 5:30. We ate potato knish since Pizza Hut ran out of cheese pizza and mushroom pizza (they didn't even bake their own, stupid little ppl, they just heated frozen ones). The knish was good :)

So then we walked over to Roseland Ballroom for the concert. We started off at the doors, and then had to practically go all around the block to get in line. We were early (we didn't want to miss Letter Kills). So we were waiting in line, and they were selling Hobastank long sleeves shirts for $10, so I got one. It is pretty big on me and the sleeves are too long, but it is comfy. On the front it says "h∞bastank" in light blue with the ∞ in red, and on the back it says three days grace and the tour locations and stuff. And it is dark blue. It is my first band shirt :D

So then we go in, and go down some stairs to get on the main floor. We see Letter Kills decently close up. They were good, but they were better at Warped. Alina was all sad because Matt (lead singer) cut his hair. So then we explore the venue a bit, and go to the second floor. We are just on the 2nd floor when Alina sees Tim from Letter Kills. So we talked to him a little, and it was really cool, but he all alone and I felt kind of sorry for him. But it was really cool.

Then Three Days Grace comes on and they were sooooooooooo much better then when I saw them a bit over a year ago. I thought they were really good, but Alina thought they were 'boring'. After Three Days Grace we move up a bit to a rail, and stand on it for Hoobastank. Hoobastank was great, but that might have been since I knew every single song......

So it was a really awesome concert. And then we took the train back, and Alina kept on being like "don't fall asleep, or I'll hit you to wake you up". I listened to some music on Bluey, and managed to keep awake. Dropped off Alina at like 1 a.m., and then my mom and I crashed.

Really fun day. And it was all foggy in NYC, the skyscrapers looked a bit like something out of Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow.

Thanksgiving was nice, and I didn't pig out too much, which I'm proud of. Hope everyone else had a nice Thanksgiving too!

And I've just been chilling at home, and tomorrow I'm going to Surina's house and hopefully I'll see the movie Polar Express with my family.

I feel sad not having a Thanksgiving with her. And she hinted she wasn't coming home for spring break. And she is only coming home for part of summer. And soon it'll be even less.

And I'm such a clingy little sister, so needy. And she pushes away.......

At least I've got my daddy. He pays more attention to me than mom cuz he's a lot less busy. And he cares so genuinely. Yesterday I ate dinner slowly and wasn't feeling well, but I just chatted on like my normal self. He noticed, asked if I was feeling ok. He read me so well, it was just amazing. And just now he was asking about how I ripped the cd's and stuff, and noticed my Earshot cd was classified as "metal". He inquired, and I assured him cd's lie of genres, cuz they do. I mean, I only listen to music with metal instrumentals, not metal vocals. I even played a bit of "Someone" for him. And he's been feeling relly cruddy lately, yet he took sometime to see what I was doing. It was just really nice :)

My mom is being nice to, taking me to NYC and a concert with Alina, and taking off some of work for it. She's so busy, that kinda thing means a lot.

I'll be helping mom cook Thanksgiving dinner, and I'll enjoy it, even without Lisa.

And I bought a pie for my family from the French Honors Society, and I feel so good, because they give so much and I give so little back usually.

Today kinda sucked. Clayton always gives so much homework, and it is otherwise such an easy class for me, so I feel like it is so useless. And Motzenbecker made me feel like an idiot. He asked if any of us knew anyone in a partnership, and I raised my hand and said my dad. Then he asks what my dad does, and I said its complicated. So he pushes it and asks if it deals with law (like a firm I guess) and I say no. And I'm really sure he didn't believe me.

Those of you who know what my dad does, know why I didn't want to tell the whole class, esp. Mr Motzenbecker, who is such a skeptical jerk. And for your information Motzy, my daddy is not just in a partnership, he's in charge of it (and founded it). And it is actually referred to as IME PARTNERSHIP. So there. :P

And of course Ms Randall for McNamara wasn't too fun, but she seemed nicer then yesterday at least. She was wearing red boots and a short suede skirt and had black eyeliner. She so wants to be younger, and its kind of sad (in a pathetic way).

Yeah, so that is what is going on in my messed up head and life.

RANDOM : The play is AWESOME! The ending isn't THAT great, but overall the play is awesome, SO IF YOU CAN GO, GO OR I GUARANTEE YOU'LL REGRET IT.
Its going to be packed tonight (it was pretty full yesterday) so try to show up a bit before 8....

It is 10x better then Satz plays. And its creepy, the kind of creepy that is so funny it is great, and gets Diana hyper.
My parents are going :)

And there is the part where the creeper does an evil laugh, and it is such a great evil laugh, it makes me jealous.

You know what I just realized? Half of what I listen to is Chevelle. They're just so great...

They're like my favorite band!

I CLIMBED THE TOWER!

So much going on. I have evil Gettis thing, the play (ushering), climbing the tower, and going to NYC w/ Alina on Wednesday :)

I climbed the tower today. 3-sides of the tower are rock wall, and then there is a side with a ladder leaned against a pole with rungs and space where people can sort of "shimmy" up some static line. The stuff on the side that isn't rock wall takes only two-people groups (1 climber/ 1 belayer) as opposed to 4-people, and all four of us (Me, Kelly, Tara, and Amanda) wanted to climb today, so that was the best way. It was pretty easy, and it really gives you a rush. Up at the tower I wasn't panicking, but my body wouldn't stop shaking, and I was a bit freaked out at first when I was going down, but once I realized how much control I had I was fine.

It was fun, and I felt woozy once I got down. And feeling woozy is awesome :)

I've got to go to HHS at 6:45 for the play. That should be cool, but a lot more people are coming on Saturday.

And NYC is just going to be awesome!!

Hey, I'm in Project adventure with Amanda and Tara! Yay, we get to freeze while climbing the tower! fun, fun.

Aagh, I REALLY need to download some more music, there are so many songs I want!

I've been listening to Another Know It All (Chevelle) like at least twice every day. That song kicks ass! But it would be better for my mental health to get some new stuff to listen to.....

Ok, I told her to email me and then I'd email her back, but I never got an email from her, and I didn't know her email address, so I was all confused. Then Amanda starts telling me "Surina is SO pissed at you". like during every math class, and I'm like, "she didn't email me, it is HER fault."

So then during Bio, Amanda tells me Surina did email me and I'm all confused. That's when I realize "Oh, she prob. emailed my OLD email. Whoops...."

Of Everything. Sorry for this ranting of things you don't want to hear, it is just I'm so sick of my lunch. Julia hardly ever talks to me anymore, and I'm sick of the same jokes, the same little things everyone talks about, andsick of feeling like an outsider and bitch because of it. I don't feel like I even BELONG to my lunch table anymore. I usually only talk to two people, and just a bit. I can't wait for Tara to come to my lunch; then at least I'll have Tara and Katie.

I just felt like today everything was so boring because they were just complaining about tests (esp. Clayton) like always, and, well, nothing exciting. And I guess my worries and issues don't quite coincide with everyone else's, and it is not their fault (more like mine), but I can't help feeling this way.

I guess the real thing is NO ONE MISSED ME AT ALL. Everyone was just like, "Oh you're back, hi.".

And I hate myself for beeing so needy of reassurance, and I hate myself for being such a self-concious bitch. And I hate the fact that some people might try to comfort me and it might work for an hour, but I'll just feel crappy later.

I was so happy last year.

Surina is away, I don't see Nina, my lunch buddies are in one (if any) of my classes.

IT SUCKS.

And I don't care if it will be better NEXT year, because I still have quite a few months to go.
It doesn't help that all my friends left stage crew....

I'm trying so hard to be happy, but why does it have to be so hard?

I think I'm going to emerge from my sicky realm and go to school tommorrow. Ack. Scary thought.

Today my asthma problems got better, but I've been coughing a bit more and have been blessed with more phlegm. Oh joy.
I've got two tests to make up and I missed a bunch of test reviews. I think I'll take the French and Math and English Tests/quizzes tomorrow, but I'm going to hold off a day on Motzenbecker since I left my notebook in my locker.

So what did I miss?

Homework, please?

Otherwise I'll have to call you, and I might start coughing and sending germs thru the phone lines, so BEWARE!

Anyway...

Wasn't in school today, in case any of you didn't notice.....I'll go into the details later, but I got a lot to write, so I'll do it in lj cuts......
I really don't feel like titling them tho...

My weekend......

Well, Wednesday I bummed around the house and Thursday I went to stage crew and got ready for my trip. Friday I packed up and after awhile left for Connecticut. Listened to Bluey all the way there :)
Once we got to Connecticut we checked into our room and went for an early dinner at this crab shack place. I had some shrimp, and as a family we ordered some Hawaiian fish (Mahi Mahi I think) and a big crab. The shrimp and crab both required work before eating tho (had to peel the shrimp and break off crab legs, get crab out of shell,etc.). After that we went shopping. I got Final Fantasy and Simpson's Hit and Run for my PS2 I'll be getting in a week. Also bought cd's by Earshot, Alien Ant Farm, and Lostprophets. Went clothes shopping and got a nice really warm black fuzzy hoodie. Also got a lime green. Then we went to the R.E.M concert and I was really tired and feeling a bit sick (my nose was stuffy) so I was out of it for almost all of the concert. So it was just ok. Then I had some ice cream and went to sleep. Saturday checked out of Mohegan Sun (place I was staying at in Connecticut) and drove to Atlantic City, with a brief stop off at home. I picked up my cd player so I could listen to my new cds. At AC (yes, the air conditioner Nina) I had my own room and there was a middle room even. Ooh, I love hotel suites! (This was at Trump Plaza). Ate some good Chinese food for dinner, then went to Train concert. I liked that a lot since the lead singer had an awesome voice and the concert had lots of energy. And the lead singer made fun of Britney Spears :P

Sunday I was still feeling sick but not too bad and we went to my favorite Sunday brunch at the Hilton. Then we went shopping and I got some nice water proof leather (suede I think) boots. We also got a bunch of other stuff. Then we left AC at drove home. I started my math homework in the car ride and finished it at home.

And now for Monday....

Went to school despite slight asthma problems (my sickness seemed to have gone from nose to throat and lungs). I wasn't feeling too bad, just a little tired from the weekend. Stayed after to find there was no stage crew, but stage crew was invited to watch cast rehearsals and offer feedback. Okita had been staying after, and so she came along with me. We left at 4:00 for the late bus, so we only got to see the first seen. It was pretty good and a bit amusing. My favorite part was when Mrs. Bones said, "Its called WHEN APPLES BLEED," in a very dramatic tone.
Monday night my asthma-ish problems got a bit worse.

Today...

I woke up with some asthma problems still, so I stayed home. I've been napping on and off and feel rather dazed. So this is what being on drugs feels like.....
Anyway, my daddy made some waffles and hot chocolate for me for breakfast (he of course had some of the waffles too). He can be so sweet :)
My mom has been working from her 'home office' in her and dad's bedroom, so I haven't seen much of her.
After my really late breakfast (at around noon) I watched a bit of tv and just meandered around a bit. I shut the tv off after a bit and took a nap. Woke up really dazed, and still am a bit. Not a very exciting day. I feel really messed up tho.

So, kind friends, can you give me some of the work I missed today (homework, what we learned in class, etc.)

I have Gettis, Clayton, Motzenbecker, McNamara, and Simon.

Sadness with election and all. But I'm so sick of politics, of people practically supporting racial profiling.

Ickiness. So I WON'T talk about the election or rant about the outcome. I know it won't do any good. I'd appreciate it if others followed my lead, and omit it from their posts too. I'm putting something up on my writing journal (worldinabubble) and would appreciate comments. It was written a little while ago, and is strange and not as light hearted as my other one.
